« Since 1902 Domaine Salvator is dedicated to the culture of the olive tree.
Today with Frédéric we have taken over 4 generations of farmers and take care of olive trees over 400 years old. More than a passion: it’s a responsibility. We must continue to plant olive orchards, but above all, ensure that we pass on this heritage to the next generation.
These age-old trees give us a five-fold premium quality olive oil. The aromatic power of the terroir and extreme climate of Haute Provence gives our cuvées intense and unique aromas. »
De l'arbre à la bouteille
« From the orchard to the mill, from the culture to the bottling, we respect one golden rule : quality!
Exclusively made from the estate orchards, the olive oils are subjected to permanent search to improve this quality. Our mill allows us to optimize the freshness and flavor of olives, crushed as soon as picked .
We produce exclusively the oil from our orchards ans our olives are turned into oil on the spot, on the very day of the picking. » (Frédéric Pinatel)
Une agriculture responsable
« Olive growers do not always realize the importance of their work. Indeed, as well as the Pont du Gard or the arenas of Nîmes, the olive trees of Haute-Provence constitute a real historical monument, tracing the ancient history of our region, and thus that of all the Mediterranean.
Moreover, this is something alive, whose real immortality we can hardly imagine. These lovers of trees of confidence that olive growers are in charge of maintaining this heritage and may find there some additional reasons to continue
